Two things I learned from this fight.

First, if you say that phase 1 is the easiest and that the majority of this fight is learning how to handle phase 2, you'll immediately spend a night wiping to phase 1 and then easily get through phase 2.

Second, if you threaten to cut anyone who asks about fire resist for the fight, they'll still do it anyway BECAUSE IT IS FUNNY AND ORIGINAL.
